Rin Itoshi

Music boomed in the living room, laughter and conversation mingled with the clinking of glasses. The reunion with their old friends had started off peacefully, but with each round of drinks, the night became more chaotic.

You were sitting next to Rin, laughing with Isagi and Bachira, when you suddenly leaned your head on his shoulder.

“Rin…” you muttered, your eyes narrowed and you had a playful smile. “Were you always so handsome?”

Rin felt a chill. You were already drunk. Her ears turned red when you felt her jaw with your fingertips.

“Your face is so pretty…” you murmured, getting dangerously close.

Bachira burst out laughing and Isagi whistled in amusement. Rin clicked his tongue in annoyance.

“That’s enough.” He stood up and, in one movement, carried you in his arms.

“Ehhh! I don’t want to leave yet!” you protested, laughing.

“I didn’t ask.” Her tone was sharp, but the blush on her face gave it away.

He said a hurried goodbye and walked out with you in his arms. On the way home, you couldn't stop looking at him with that dreamy expression.

“Rin, can I kiss you?”

"Be quiet."

“You’re so serious…” you pouted and then laughed. “But I like you like this.”

Rin sighed. Upon arriving, he carefully placed you on the bed and leaned over you, catching your wrist before you could touch his face again.

“Tomorrow you’re going to regret all this.”

You smiled, your eyes shining with excitement.

“What if not?”

Rin looked away, her heart pounding.

“Go to sleep already.”

But even when he turned off the light and lay down next to you, he knew he wouldn't be able to fall asleep that easily.

They are both married.
