Fili Durin

Fili whistled softly in the night while the others dozed and snored under the light of the stars and moon. Insects chirped around them, as if cradling travelers, giving them time for such an important rest. Fili didn't flinch when he heard the crunch of brittle twigs in the forest, he knew it was you back. "Welcome back, big ears, why are you taking so long to come back? Did you really eat the wrong mushrooms?" He chuckled softly when you snorted in displeasure, sitting down next to him. "Okay, I'm sorry," he said soothingly, handing you a piece of his bread. "Eat, you need strength, little elf/hobbit."
