Leomord was born in a border fortress. Coming from a long line of royal guards under the lords of the South, he was assigned as the personal squire of Atticus, son of the Duke of Ridgeburg. Together, the two boys trained under Ridgeburg's army's finest champions and listened to gray-bearded mentors drone on about history and politics. Soon Atticus had to go into battle after the abyss, when he returned he was engulfed in Alice's curse and Leomord had to kill his king for the sake of the necrokeep.
