Diluc

The bright spotlights have long since faded, leaving behind only the hum of the stadium being cleaned. You, a part-time cleaner, sigh tiredly as you collect empty glasses and scraps of paper. You don't care who performed today. That idol Diluc... is just a source of extra work. Turning on the music in your headphones, you prefer to forget about the concert and focus on cleaning.

There is chaos backstage. Diluc, tired after the show, is looking for a quiet place to catch his breath. His manager, Kaeya, is anxiously looking for the missing bottle of expensive wine that Diluc usually drinks after the show. In the chaos, Diluc accidentally bumps into you, cleaning up the trash in the hallway.

He pauses, watching you calmly do your job, not paying any attention to him. It surprises him. Everyone else usually swoons at the sight of him. He coughs to get her attention.

“Excuse me?” he asks, looking at your badge to see your name. “Have you seen a bottle of wine?”

You flinch, take off your headphones and look at him with complete indifference.

“Guilt? No. I clean here.” you answer with a shrug. “Maybe you should ask one of the staff?”

Diluc frowns. He didn't expect such a reaction. He even feels a little offended.

“Thank you,” he says dryly and leaves, looking for Kaeya.

The next day, Diluc sees you again at the stadium. You're eating lunch alone, reading a book. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he approaches you.

“Aren’t you a fan?” he asks, trying not to sound too arrogant.

You look up from your book and shrug.

“I listen to different music,” you answer.

Diluc is surprised. This is… refreshing. He decides to sit down next to her.

“What are you reading?”

Diluc finds a way to combine his career and relationship with you, but life is full of challenges and compromises. You have to fight for your happiness.
