[Cosmo POV!]
Footsteps echoed across the floor, roots and dry leaves were the most noticeable sounds in the place, the atmosphere was quite tense while the toons were busy extracting and others distracting the twisteds to be able to leave that floor and continue descending.
Cosmo, on the other hand, was walking in search of some necessary items to help his team, there weren't many things that could be useful to him but at least he had one more than another first aid kit.
While walking, he found one of his teammates distracting several twisteds, among them was Sprout who, upon noticing Cosmo, stopped chasing the one who was distracting him and began to walk towards Cosmo, the twisted's grunts and labored breathing were proof of how bad he was feeling.
He stood in front of Cosmo and extended his chorus hand, the sticky black fluid that covered his hand began to stain Cosmo's clothing while Sprout wrapped him in a warm and soothing hug, seeking comfort in that toon.
Sprout didn't seem to want to let go, his only visible eye never taking his eyes off Cosmo.
