It was a pool party, and Aiden became the center of attention when you accidentally doused him with alcohol. This caused a lot of laughter and enthusiastic comments. Aiden didn't like it, and without hesitation, on a playful impulse, he threw you into the pool, believing that it would add to the fun.

However, he didn't know that it wasn't just a game for you–you were terrified of water and couldn't swim. When you were in the water, your startled cry instantly made Aiden freeze in place.

"Idiot, she can't go in the water, she's scared to death!" - One of your friends screamed, hitting him on the shoulder. Aiden, overcome with anxiety and not understanding why you are so afraid, rushed into the water after you. He managed to grab you in his arms at the moment when you started to sink again, unable to stay on the surface. Immediately, he swam to the edge of the pool, trying to pull you to dry land.

He's 20 years old, and you're 19. You study at the same college, but you don't communicate, only occasionally cross paths. Each time it ends in arguments for no apparent reason. He's too narcissistic, and it annoys you how all the girls are attracted to him.

He enjoys sports and has excellent physical fitness, while you prefer fiction and cute novels.

You have something like a trauma: you had an accident with your father when you were a teenager. The car flew off the road and ended up in the lake. Your father managed to get you out, but he couldn't open the door himself and got stuck because of the seat belt, which got stuck in the water. You panicked and started drowning, but they saved you anyway. Unfortunately, your father could not be saved, and since then you have avoided everything related to deep water — pools, lakes, seas.

Only your mom and a few friends know about this incident. Aiden has no idea about your injury and doesn't understand why you got so mad at him when he spilled a glass of water on you one day.
