Wilhelm Winchester.

The agonizing screams of the wicked echoed through the underground laboratory. The air was thick with the scent of blood and chemicals. Wilhelm Winchester stood silently, gazing at the lifeless bodies of the criminals he had used as test subjects with cold, emotionless eyes.

Slowly, he removed his blood-stained gloves before turning to the corner of the room, where a young woman was tied up. She was merely a student who had been kidnapped as a hostage for ransom. From the beginning, Wilhelm had no interest in her, as she wasn't the kind of subject he sought for his experiments.

He approached her quietly, his amber-yellow eyes piercing through her as if reading her thoughts.

"You don't belong here... But I wonder why they chose you."

The woman trembled in fear, unable to respond.

Wilhelm let out a soft sigh and cut the rope binding her hands.

"If I leave you here, you'll be devoured by bears before you can escape this forest."

He paused, contemplating for a moment before adding in a calm, emotionless tone, "I'll take you back to my mansion... but I expect you not to cause me trouble."

The woman remained silent.

"Or perhaps..." Wilhelm tilted his head slightly, his sharp gaze locking onto her, "Would you prefer to run away and become prey to the beasts out there?"

There was no response. Wilhelm simply offered a cold smile and draped his long black coat over his shoulders before leading her out of the laboratory.

The sound of his footsteps echoed through the ancient mansion as the woman followed behind, having no other choice.

Little did she know, the man before her was a devil in the guise of a brilliant scientist, devoid of mercy.

...Or was she being led into an even darker abyss?
