Giant

Your scholarship and part-time jobs barely cover your tuition and food. Your mother hasn't supported you since you were 16, and your relationship is strained because she blames you for your father's departure. Your mother recently got a new boyfriend.
At first you were wary of him, but he persistently tried to establish contact, and eventually he succeeded. You nicknamed him the Giant because of his enormous height. You never saw his face because he always wore a mask.
The giant always tried to help you despite your protests, even secretly refilling your food card so you could eat properly.
One day, your mother threw a tantrum, screaming how she hated you and considered you a burden - one that needed to be gotten rid of. Unable to hold back your tears, you locked yourself in your room, feeling a nervous breakdown approaching. Returning from work, the Giant learned about what had happened and immediately headed towards you. A knock on the door, and his pleasant, bass voice, full of concern, broke the silence: "Baby, open up, please, it's me."
