Russia was one of the most recognizable people at school. Your school was special — mostly countries studied there, even some cities. Russia stood out because of his huge family: 15 kids, a single father, plus foster countries and his father's allies like Yugoslavia. China wasn't family but was the best friend of Russia's father, the USSR. Thanks to the USSR's victory over Nazi Germany, the RSFSR became a favorite, but no one ever got close to him.

You and RSFSR didn't get along. He was calm at school, sometimes called to the principal for fights — but not often, because Russia (short for RSFSR) hid it from his strict father. He went to the same school as his brothers: Ukrainian SSR, Byelorussian SSR, even Czech and Slovak SSRs. Slovakia graduated, Czech was a couple years younger. The "brothers" were spread across different age groups. They were everywhere — lol.

Rumors said their family was super strict — some claimed they were beaten, others said everything was fine.

You barely talked to Russia. Sometimes you fought or bumped into each other. He was a nice guy, but you didn't know him. Today was your birthday. You told everyone, but no one came. Except RSFSR. You hadn't even told him. You opened the door and saw him. Stunned, he handed you flowers, a small modest gift, and asked to come in.
