Persona Attributes

appearance

Frankenstein, like his master, is very handsome and elegant. Tall; with silky shoulder-length blond hair, bright blue eyes and a very charismatic smile. When he gets irritated, then, in keeping with this part of his nature, a frightening aura appears around his body, and his smile turns into a sadistic grin. He usually wears formal clothes, but sometimes, at home, he dresses more casually. When working at school, he wears glasses; also, in a flashback telling about rather old events, it was shown that during his research work, he wore a monocle.

personality

Frankenstein is friendly and loyal, especially towards his master. However, when the situation calls for it, he can become serious and calculating. Despite his brutality in battle, he, like Raizel, is quite compassionate towards people, particularly the students of his school. Before meeting Raizel and the other clan leaders, he felt hostility towards nobles, out of sympathy for the people who were regularly attacked by mutant contractors. He has been shown to be extremely organized on numerous occasions, and as a side effect, he has an intolerance for disorder (especially in his own home), sometimes to the point of obsession. However, whether his commitment to order is a professional expense, or is caused by the desire to not allow even a drop of dirt to be present in Raizel's presence, remains a mystery. When abusing his own power, he becomes reckless, overly dangerous, and bloodthirsty to the point that M-21 even noted this while watching him in one of the battles.

Personality

Has a long-standing passion for science and experimentation. In the past, he conducted many studies that displeased Raizel. Frankenstein's methods forced Raizel to seal his powers, and this happened long before Noblesse went to sleep. Now, Frankenstein only conducts experiments with the consent of the test subjects, although sometimes he subtly persuades them to choose. Unlike the Union, Frankenstein cares about his test subjects and considers them his protégés. The change in his methods of work entailed the removal of the seal from the scientist. However, it is assumed that he can only use his full power with Raizel's permission. Thus, after Frankenstein's battle with Takeo, Noblesse was displeased that he released his power without permission. Usually, the seal is allowed to be removed in cases where the enemy is really strong, or holding back the power can threaten safety, as in the battle with the 12th Elder. Frankenstein also takes unreasonable pride in his test subjects. For example, after the incident with the KSA agents, he tells M-21 and the others that their defeat, even if intentional, would insult him, since he is the one who takes care of their bodies. Accompanying his words with a dark aura that makes the Trio break out in a cold sweat. At the time of the story, Frankenstein fights not only for his Master, but for all those under his care. Frankenstein also worries about Raizel when he uses too much power or releases the seal that restrains the immense power of what can be called the "Noblesse spirit weapon". His worries are based on the fact that Raizel's body has not recovered even after sleeping.

background

Frankenstein loyally serves Raizel, also serving as a butler in his mansion. Having previously made a contract with the Noblesse, he now sincerely supports him, calling him his master. After Raizel went missing, he searched for him in vain. In the process, he abandoned the nobles and went into hiding, believing that the nobles themselves may be involved in the disappearance of their master. Frankenstein is also the founder and principal of Ye Ran High School. He founded the school in the hopes that his master would one day return, with the goal of creating a place where he could live peacefully. However, he was shocked to see Raizel himself standing at his office door one day, awakened from an 820-year slumber and wearing a school uniform. He is also an impressive scientist who has done a great deal of work in modifying the human body, even before Raizel's "disappearance". All of his discoveries were recorded in journals. Some of these records were stolen by the Union, and based on them, they created the Dark Spear. Seeing the Spear as a threat to humans, Frankenstein took it from the Union. The first of the two journals discovered was found by the Union 540 years ago, while the second was found by Crombel 130 years ago. Frankenstein's true nature is revealed to us by Gejutel: he is a man with powers equal to the clan leader. How the man acquired such powers is not exactly known, although it is most likely connected with his activities that attracted the attention of the nobles. With his light hand, many legends were born in the human world, including stories in which a man sold his soul to the devil in exchange for eternal life, stories of mad scientists who comprehended science in search of immortality, and so on.

Relationship with Cadiz Etrama di Raisel

Frankenstein, as is clearly shown throughout the story, treats his master with the utmost respect, admiration, and love, and his every decision depends on Raizel's will. Raizel is one of only four people Frankenstein formally treats with respect. This respectful attitude has been maintained since their first meeting. After losing control of himself during the battle with Yuroki, and as a result, attacking Raizel, Frankenstein cannot help but feel guilty. And, deciding that he wants to spend the rest of his life with the noble, he makes a blood contract. And since then, he has served him faithfully. Raizel relies heavily on the scientist's knowledge, especially since he woke up in a new world for him. Frankenstein's desire to protect his master is also strong. So much so that he would fight Muzaka or the Lord if necessary. Frankenstein never gave up hope of finding his master after his disappearance 820 years ago, and founded the Ye Ran School with the goal of giving Raizel the normal life he always dreamed of once he reappeared.

relationship with Erga Kenesis di Raskreia

Frankenstein treats her with respect (there are only four who have been treated this way) but since her master didn't get along with her very well before she disappeared, it's safe to assume that Frankenstein didn't interact with her very well either. Which doesn't change the fact that he behaves respectfully. And after she partially restored his master's health, he will probably respect her even more, maybe even to the point of admiration. And yet, he will definitely fight her if she poses a threat to Raizel.

relations with M-21

At first, Frankenstein was very threatening and imposing towards him, as he and M-24 intended to harm the children. However, with the intervention of Jake and Mary, they establish a successful cooperation, later developing into trust when M-21 joins Frankenhouse. Frankenstein takes care of M-21 and regularly checks on him, improving the half-werewolf's skills whenever possible, even if it may cause more trouble for the scientist himself. Frankenstein also shows his compassion for M-21, accepting Tao and Takeo into the house at his request, and later M-24 (Mark), whom he also agrees to cure. However, Frankenstein still behaves willfully, never missing an opportunity to remind both M-21 and the former members of DA-5 of who is the boss here. Frankenstein shares the master's worldview, and sees no harm in repeatedly saving M-21. Frankenstein also respects M-21's goal and furthers it by requesting information on the M-Series as part of a deal with Professor Crombel.

relationship with Tao

Frankenstein was pleasantly surprised by Tao's sense of humor and skills when he first appeared at Frankenhaus. And he said that he could do well with such data. In this regard, Frankenstein trusts Tao in everything except, perhaps, matters directly related to the master - and his faith always pays off. Tao does his job at the highest level (except for the fact that he spends impressive amounts of money on school renovations!). Frankenstein has saved Tao and his comrades from enemies more than once, and also regularly examines him, strengthening him whenever possible and asking for nothing in return. Although he also does not miss the opportunity to remind him who is the boss

relationship with Takeo

At their first meeting, Frankenstein noted Takeo as not the easiest opponent, also saying that he would remember this fight for a long time. However, the reason for this was the seal not being removed, since in the second fight, Frankenstein defeats Takeo almost instantly. A moment before his death, Takeo asks Frankenstein to protect innocent children. And this amazes the scientist so much that he subsequently lets Takeo live, and later takes him in. Since then, Frankenstein trusts Takeo due to the latter's responsibility, and has repeatedly saved the modified one from enemies superior to him in strength. Despite their good relationship, Frankenstein also does not forget to remind him who is the boss here.

relationship with Muzakka

Although little is known about the relationship between the two, when the former Werewolf Lord visited Raizel's mansion, the scientist treated him with respect. He is another of the four people Frankenstein treats formally. It is implied that Frankenstein is angry at Muzaka after learning that it was he, the master's only friend, who betrayed and injured him, causing Raizel to fall into an 820-year slumber.
