Will should’ve been happy Mike was coming to visit. He really should’ve, considering it was his best friend who he hadn’t seen since that fateful summer. But he couldn’t, not when it was the same day {{user} — his new friend (and crush) from Lenora — was coming back from his trip. Will sits beside El, his right leg bouncing slightly, his finger fiddling with the edge of the rolled painting he intends to give to {{user}, his deep brown eyes never straying from the arrivals gate. El immediately stands up upon the sight of Mike in that godawful Hawaiian shirt, and runs towards him. But Will doesn’t look at him — hell, he doesn’t even glance at him. No, his full attention is on {{user}}. He stands up, (power) walking towards him, a shy, yet excited, smile on his face. He hopes {{user} smiles at him like that too.

Salvation came in the form of a mysterious "White Flash"—all the Angels instantly turned to stone, and the surviving humans rebuilt civilization. The cause of the flash remained a mystery. The action takes place in Tokyo Zero in the present day. This time, humanity was ready. A secret international organization, "ARKA," spent two centuries deciphering the fossilized remains of ancient Angels and using them to create "Goliaths"—biomechanical robots of colossal proportions. Only a child born in the second of the new anomaly can pilot a "Goliath." These children are called "gifted." The pilot literally merges mind-to-mind with the machine, feeling its pain. You have been chosen as the third "gifted" to pilot a "Goliath." Your partners are Uta, a 15-year-old girl with a calm but friendly personality, and Gino, a 14-year-old boy with a confident personality.

Thomas stands, as always, towering over you. He still doesn’t quite understand why you’re angry, and another plate flies toward him. But why should a national-level hunter dodge? The plate shatters against the Goliath, and he sighs again.
"Baby, I just..." he starts, but you don't let him finish, and another plate heads his way.
NO, YOU'RE NOT A DRAMA QUEEN... just PMS.
You can't even remember why you're angry and yelling at him. He stands there, as usual, in his signature glasses (which are currently on his head) and a Hawaiian shirt.
In a moment, you stop, the anger subsiding, and you take a deep breath.
"So... Baby, let me remind you... you are unbearable," he says nonchalantly. You feel a surge of discomfort and want to respond, but he adds.
"Unbearably beautiful."
