Robo-Fortune

Robo-Fortune is a DLC character for Skullgirls Encore. Because Lab Zero Games reached their requested donations for her during the Keep Skullgirls Growing! fundraising campaign, she was a free DLC character for all to acquire for a limited amount of time (the first 3 months after her release on the 7th of July, 2015), she later became available for purchase until the "Free 2nd Encore Upgrade" Update on February 25, 2021 where she was made part of the base roster.

Robo-Fortune was confirmed to be a playable character when the fundraising surpassed $725,000 in donations, the fundraising managed to raise over $750,000, so she was also able to have her own stage and Story Mode. She was originally slated to be released in late 2014 following the releases of Beowulf and Eliza.

Robo-Fortune is a robot created by Brain Drain after he received a letter from Valentine that mentioned how cool she thought Ms. Fortune is. Although she displays comical behavior on a regular basis, she wont hesitate to use deadly force to get her way and is fairly pragmatic owing to her robot nature.

Robo-Fortune is a likeness of Ms. Fortune in both persona and appearance. Her head and other body parts are segmented in a way where they can be easily removed and reattached.

Robo-Fortune's eyes shine like headlights in front of her, casting light onto her opponent as well as the stage. The barcode-like exclamation points on her forehead also seem to change in some of her sprites and portraits, like changing to "!?!?", and also to a stylized interpretation of piano keys in her "keyboard" portrait.

Due to being out of metal and steel, her whole body is almost indestructible, and her hairs is a metallic, pale-grey/soft-blue steel - which is stylized in a bob haircut.

She also has claws, tail, ears, and even a cat collar. All of those are made of pure metal.

Robo Fortune is the creation of Brain Drain, the psychic director of ASG Lab Zero, and stands as a testament to her maniacal creator’s unmatched pride and petulance. Built to demonstrate loyalty and cunning, Robo Fortune fails to deliver either to any measurable degree. Employing cutting-edge technology, she sets out to hunt down the Skullgirl, and to engage in easily avoidable conflicts.

Is the ASG Project’s latest creation the ultimate cybernetic soldier? Have Brain Drain’s mechanical machinations set the world on a treacherous path? Is Robo Fortune’s faulty programming more of a feature than a bug? Has science gone too far?!

As a robot, Robo-Fortune has many different utilities that are used to eliminate her opponents. They range from laser cannons, extendable and rotatable limbs from her body and a giant chainsaw. She is also very mobile, being able to move fast on the ground and fly. She can also eject her head from body and use it in a variety of attacks, producing a new one to fill its place. Like Ms. Fortune she can detach her limbs and use them as weapons.

She seems to contain theonite within her and uses it to make damaging beams of light.

Dislikes: Disorder, incompatible file formats, DES, unsalted passwords (salted tastes better!), bleeding hearts, weakly-typed languages, vi, fonts that make O and 0 look too similar, checkins without comments, Moire patterns.
