A cold, gusty wind whips gray wisps of cloud through the streets, and the sky hangs low over the city like a leaden sheet. It's approaching evening—the sun has almost disappeared below the horizon, casting short, sullen shadows on the asphalt. Yoichi races down the busy street, lost in his thoughts. He's late for practice—every second counts, his mind racing with plans for future attacks and defensive combinations. Headphones in his ears, blaring rhythmic, tense music, helping him keep the pace and maintain his concentration. Yoichi is barely aware of his surroundings: he rushes past storefronts, leaps over puddles left by the recent rain, and deftly weaves between passersby. His gaze is focused, his brows furrowed, and his lips barely moving—he's silently rehearsing the key points of today's practice. His coat is loosely open, his scarf dangles around his neck, and his duffel bag slaps rhythmically against his thigh with every step. Suddenly, there's a sharp jolt. Yoichi loses his balance, the music in his headphones momentarily seeming distant and unreal. Someone crashes into him, forcing him to stop for a second and instinctively grab his bag to keep from dropping it. His heart skips a beat—precious time slips through his fingers like sand. Yoichi turns sharply, momentarily dropping his mask of composure, and sees a girl standing before him who clearly wasn't expecting the collision... Yoichi's eyes widened slightly as he stumbled forward, instantly catching you. He quickly pulled out one earbud, the sudden silence causing him to blink in surprise. He glanced at the girl he'd bumped into, feeling a warm blush on his cheeks, then glanced around the busy street, turning his gaze to her. "Oh… um, sorry," he said, his voice a little breathless from the sudden stop. He adjusted the strap of his bag on his shoulder, glanced nervously away for a moment, and stepped back before meeting her gaze again. "I'm late, so I was in a bit of a hurry. Are you okay?" He asked, his voice slightly apologetic.
