Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie

Draculaura is the biological daughter of Camille and Gaius, human residents of Romania 1,600 years ago. It turns out that Gaius, a Roman soldier, is the great-great-grandson of Trajan, one of Dracula's servants and friend. However, after impregnating Camille, he is killed in battle, leaving the widow alone and with no means of supporting the unborn child. Dracula, in a gesture of compassion and honor for his old friend, helps Camille and welcomes them into his castle.

Draculaura wears a pink vest with white stitching, with two pale gray buttons, purple sleeves ending at the cuffs with white lace. A thin part of her midriff is exposed between the vest and the white ruffled skirt with a layer of white mesh underneath and pink stitching. She finishes the look with purple fishnet stockings and a pair of boots that extend to her knees.

Draculaura has pale pink skin, pale pink eyes, and long black hair with pink highlights. Her hair would most often be seen in pigtails, but she can wear it in a single ponytail or even loose. Many of her physical features nod to her vampire heritage, such as pointy ears, fangs, and pale skin with a pink tint that is especially sensitive to the sun. She also has a small pink heart just below her left eye. Her fashion themes are vampire fangs, hearts, ribbons, bows, the color pink, and bat wings.

In the cartoon series, Draculaura is noticeably shorter than all of her friends, even in high heels. In fact, she is the shortest of the main cast, being taller than only a few backgrounders, and only appears taller than Ghoulia, because Ghoulia never stands up straight because she is a zombie. She is the same height as Howleen Wolf.

Draculaura is sweet, energetic, and friendly, although she can be a bit childish. She was one of Frankie's first friends, and at New Ghoul @ School she helped Frankie realize that she could fit in. Draculaura really is a diva.

Draculaura is often ecstatic and easily distracted, making her prone to accidents and mixed information, so she is usually portrayed as naive; but ignorance is bliss, as Draculaura's happiness rarely fades. She is the most emotional of the girls, and creates the easiest. She has also shown to be a bit of a flirt, having the most crushes of the cast. Being a vegan, she organizes her own food mainly from her garden and often in the cartoon, it is talked about her hemophobia - Draculaura's phobia of blood brings up the fact that she is not originally a vampire... since her adoptive father Dracula was a vampire with a great thirst for blood and most humans and other monsters find him scary, this may also be what triggered Draculaura's vegetarian diet of not drinking blood and not eating meat. She was once human and became sick in the past, and her father turned her into a vampire to become immortal. Additionally, she faints at the sight of flesh in front of her. This is seen as a recurring scene throughout the animated series in volume 2, but it is certainly not a frequent scene.

Draculaura possesses the standard abilities and characteristics of a vampire, such as the inability to be around garlic, lack of reflection in mirrors, and the need to be invited into places. However, Draculaura does not drink blood, due to its vegan nature. In addition, he possesses:

Vampiric Powers: After meeting the ruler of the vampires, Elissabat, Draculaura acquired her powers, consequently, the ability to transform into a bat at will. Despite this, she still has much to learn about these powers, as she tends to have little control over them. Levitation: Like all vampires with her powers, she is able to levitate a small height. Bat Form: Draculaura is able to transform into a bat at will. However, in episode 19 of the first season, it was revealed that this power is gained when a vampire is old enough. Revealed in "Frights, Camera, Action!", a vampire can only gain the power to transform into a bat when they do an outrageously good deed, such as Gory Fangtell saving an important vampire lord from a sunburn. However, in "Welcome to Monster High", she can transform into a bat at will, but has difficulty controlling herself to stay in bat form. She also says that she is still learning to fly with a little help from her father. Hanging from surfaces: Draculaura can hang from any ceiling, regardless of material. In one webisode, she can hang from a felt ceiling. Echolocation: In "Welcome to Monster High" Draculaura as a bat can emit a hissing shockwave, as shown when she did this to one of Moanica's Zomboyz in the graveyard and Moanica at the party to make Moanica fall off the stage. Draculaura can also hear echoes from far away, due to her superior hearing. Immortality: Like all vampires, Draculaura is immortal. Being beautiful: Draculaura is the most beautiful in monster high

Writing: Draculaura has a special fondness for writing and storytelling and is talented at doing so. Because of this, she has decided to join several clubs, such as school magazines and newspapers, and is a loyal reader of Spectra's Ghostly Gossip, due to her love of gossip chatter. However, it is unknown how she feels about the blog's rebranding, now called the Bloody Gazette. Acting: Draculaura also has a rather hidden talent for drama, as evidenced by her ease in acting parts. Although she does not act or have any lines in the film that she helped to be played by Elissabat, who plays alter ego Veronica Von Vamp, Draculaura is, however, the one who gave Elissabat the lines for her most recent film.

Draculaura's "School's Out" diary reveals that Draculaura is in fact Dracula's adopted daughter, and that he took her and her mother in "when no one else would". She also reveals that her father is not the Dracula that Bram Stoker wrote about. Draculaura was born in 412 AD as the daughter of a centurion, Gaius. Killed in battle, he left Draculaura and her mother homeless. After some time, the two made their way to the province of Dacia, which in modern day partially overlaps with Transylvania, where Draculaura's mother became a maid to Dracula. She and her mother became subject to a wasting disease (presumably tuberculosis) and her mother, Alina/Camilla, died from it. Dracula turned Draculaura into a vampire before she could die as well, beginning her life as an immortal. One way or another, Draculaura ended up being adopted by Dracula and ended up moving with him to the US, after being driven out by angry locals.

Draculaura and her father live on the same street as Holt Hyde/Jackson Jekyll "in what looks like a gigantic mansion or a small castle. I guess you'd have to go with mansion, but only because there's no moat and drawbridge." Draculaura gets along well with her father, although she thinks he's very old-fashioned (he bought her Victorian dresses for back-to-school clothes). Every year, he tries to convince her to be a more traditional vampire, including keeping her awake at night and drinking blood.

It is also shown that in Ghouls Rule, she has a cousin named Thad (whose name is likely a pun on Vlad, like Vlad the Impaler from the old Dracula days).

In the Monster High book series, she lives with her father (he is the leader of the RADs), her grandparents, and other relatives. In "The Monster Next Door" it is mentioned that she has an uncle named Vlad. In "Deader Than Ever", in an argument, Draculaura remembers when her mother died and she was turned into a vampire. Her biological parents are...

his mother Camilla and his father Gaius.

Her father met Ramoanah while on business in Antarctica. The two later married and Ramoanah became Draculaura's stepmother.

Fangelica VanBat is the adopted younger sister of Draculaura, although Fangelica is a prequel character.

Draculaura is best friends with Clawdeen Wolf, his girlfriend, and the two have accepted Frankie Stein into their group. Draculaura's outgoing nature has also earned him many other friends, including Lagoona Blue, Ghoulia Yelps, and Cleo de Nile.

While living in Transylvania, Draculaura was good friends with Elissabat. Elissabat returns in "Frights, Camera, Action!" and is seen with her in Master of Hiss-guise. She is very popular at school with her friends and is also friends with Operetta and Spectra Vondergeist, along with Abbey Bominable and Clawdeen's sister Howleen. In the books, Draculaura is also friends with Jackson Jekyll, his girlfriend, Melody Carver and Jackson Jekyll's alter ego, DJ Hyde.

Draculaura's pet bat is named Count Fabulous. She likes to dress him up in pink, coordinating outfits. The only form of insect Draculaura lets him eat are small bugs and sometimes fruit, like bananas. And she calls him her best bat friend.

In the Monster High book series, her full roster of pets includes Teeny Turner, a dog, Gyllenhaal the snake, Kitson, an orange kitten, the Worminator, a lactose-intolerant parakeet, Rat-a-tat, a mouse, two turtles, a white rabbit, and Fuego and Caliente, whose species are unknown.

In the TV special "Welcome to Monster High", she has a pet spider named Webby, although Webby resembles Memphis, who is Operetta's pet. Although Memphis Longlegs and Webby look similar, they are clearly not the same character

Clawdeen is confident, energetic, and fierce. According to Ghoulia Yelps's diary, she gets a little "weird" around the full moon (or something like it, like a spotlight), but often uses it to her advantage. She is also fiercely loyal and protective of her friends and family, but can quickly become enraged when her loyalty is threatened. Coming from a large family, she has had to fend for herself, which has created a number of traits in her, including feeling down about others, despite being a self-proclaimed "fashionista" and even running a DIY video blog. She is also the founder of the Monster High Shoe Swap. Clawdeen won the talent show due to her reaction to the spotlight, caused by Cleo de Nile.

Like most of the Wolf family, Clawdeen is a talented athlete whose skills are utilized in three sports: soccer, track and field, and baseball. Her middle name is Lucia. In the books, her human nickname is Claudine, without the Wolf family name added at the end.

Like Howleen Wolf and Clawdia Wolf, she has a Brooklyn accent.

Clawdeen has long, voluminous dark brown hair (voluminous in the original, non-rereleased base doll and in the computer-animated TV specials; curly in the drawn artwork and webseries and in "New Ghoul at School" and "Fright On!"). Golden yellow eyes with small, slitted black pupils; long, thick, black eyelashes; dark brown werewolf fur for "skin", bright red lipstick, deep purple or dark purple eyeshadow; red claws painted with bright red nail polish; and fashionable clothing. She wears a light salmon-colored blouse with tiger stripes that shows a hint of her midriff under a cropped black jacket with a gold zipper and fuzzy purple trimmings. Clawdeen also wears salmon-colored knee-high socks with sparkles that reach up to her knees, and the socks also have coverage in the back of her high-heeled shoes, but not in the front; long, high-heeled boots with Velcro clasps resembling gold buckles; her boots and stockings have an opening that shows the front of her feet, and her nails are painted dark red. She also sports a short, deep purple miniskirt and a sort of fishnet petticoat underneath. In the 2D animations of the webisodes and the 3D TV specials, her "fishnet" bottoms do not look like a fabric of any kind, but more like a kind of plastic-like, light/gray colored material. Also in her basic appearance, she has two gold piercings or hoops in her wolf ears, a black choker or "dog collar" with gold studs or "gems", a gold necklace with a pale purple stone in the middle as the pendant of the necklace, and her miniskirt has a black belt, which also has gold studs. Clawdeen also has large fangs, and her ears have holes or tear marks, but the tears are absent in the animations. In Lisi Harrison's book series, she is described as having red curls.

Skills Clawdeen possesses the standard abilities and characteristics of a werewolf such as being stronger and more agile, in addition to having her powers amplified during the Full Moon. In addition:

Strength: Clawdeen has above-average strength due to being a werewolf. Speed: Clawdeen has the agility of a wolf and can run and move quickly. Superior Hearing: Because of her wolf side, Clawdeen can hear sounds coming from long distances. Keen Sense of Smell: Her wolf side gives Clawdeen a very keen sense of smell, just like a wolf. Wolf Form: In "Welcome to Monster High", Clawdeen can transform into a large wolf with brownish fur. Rapid Hair Growth: Like all werewolves, and like Clawdeen and Howleen, he can grow even more hairy even when he doesn't want to. Talents Economics: Clawdeen has a taste for Economics, because of her dream of one day having a fashion empire, she believes she has to know as much about business as fashion. And she is good at both. Gymnastics: As much as Clawdeen doesn't like gym class, she is a great cheerleader.

Family Clawdeen may or may not be the daughter of Wolfman, or Wolf-Man from the 1941 film The Wolf Man. She lives with her large family in a not-so-large house, and there always seems to be some kind of drama going on there. The way they fight, you might think they don't like each other, but that's not true. They look out for each other, and if you get into a fight with one of them, you better be ready to face them. Her known family members that have been seen are Clawdia, Clawd, Howleen, Harriet, and an unknown younger brother. In "Night of a Thousand Dots," Clawdeen mentioned that she has a great-great-grandmother named Harriett; her grandmother is a werewolf. Friends Clawdeen is best friends with Draculaura and Frankie Stein. She is also friends with Lagoona Blue, Abbey Bominable, and Ghoulia Yelps. She started out as a rival of sorts to Cleo de Nile, but the two later resolved their differences and became friends. She has little interaction with Deuce Gorgon, although in her diary she writes about enjoying teasing him. As of "Road to Monster Mashionals", she has a strong animosity towards Toralei Stripe for stealing the Fear Squad's scary routine. She almost betrayed her friendship with Draculaura out of jealousy over her relationship with her brother Clawd, but his touching apology changed her and gave her a new perspective on life. In the Monster High books, Clawdeen's friends are given the names Frankie, Lala, Blue, and Cleo as normie names. In Clawdeen's original 2010 doll profile, she states that her "best friends" are Frankie Stein & Draculaura.

Clawdeen's pet is a kitten named Crescent, who is described as having incredibly creepy soft purple fur and described by Clawdeen as "a creepy fluffy kitty, as fuzzy as me", but in Crescent's profile, she states that Clawdeen is "almost" as fuzzy as her.

According to the events of Cleo and Clawd's breakup, the relationship was an accident due to a misfire from CA Cupid, and even after Clawd explained that the feelings were mutual because Cleo's love for Deuce Gorgon was so strong that it freed her from the arrow's love spell, Clawdeen remained "frenemies" with Cleo. This was in the Doll Diaries series, but it is not actually known if it happened in the cartoons before the events of the first webisode. If it is a continuity exclusive to the diaries, it is not known how or why they are rivals in the webisodes, or specifically, in Volume 1. According to the second time he appeared in "Fur Will Fly", Clawdeen and Heath Burns did not have a clean relationship. In fact, she wanted to prove to him that girls are not weak. However, this is used by tricking herself with the lunar power of the full moon. Aside from using the Full Moon to her advantage, some may not know that she is naturally strong and naturally fast without it. The webisode may have sparked some unclear thoughts from fans, especially YouTube fans in the comments section. In "Talon Show", Clawdeen's competitive side towards Cleo de Nile is shown more. It may or may not be a spiteful side towards Cleo dumping her brother Clawd. Details on this are unclear. Clawdeen has no other issues with other monsters, or people in general, due to her generally kind and friendly personality.

Romance Despite her profile mentioning that she likes to flirt, Clawdeen has yet to be seen interacting with a boy in a more meaningful way than a round of dancing. She danced with a cute boy in "New Ghoul @ School" and with Romulus in "Fright On!". In the film "Ghouls Rule", Draculaura tries to set Clawdeen up with her cousin, Thad, who Clawdeen avoids out of fear of dating. However, during the Halloween dance, she finally meets Thad and finds him very attractive, so she decides to take a risk and ask him to dance. In "Welcome to Monster High", Raythe falls in love with her and it seems that their feelings are mutual. It was recently confirmed on Instagram that Clawdeen may be a lesbian; this is one explanation as to why Clawdeen has never been as "boy crazy" as the other ghouls.

Frankie was born in a laboratory created by Frankenstein's monster and the Bride of Frankenstein. She started out as the youngest student at Monster High at 15 days old, and later turned 16 days old. She befriended Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf. She later met Lagoona Blue and befriended her as well. She also became friends with Cleo de Nile at the end of "The New Ghost in School". Frankie has made many friends since then, including Deuce Gorgon and Clawdeen Wolf. She has also befriended Gillington Webber.

Frankie befriended Andy Beast. She also befriended Finnegan Wake, and Neighthan Rot, Bonita Femur, Sirena Von Boo, and Avea Trotter. She has made many friends and has attended Monster High ever since. She also befriended Isi Dawndancer in "From Fear to There Part 2". In the Monster High book series, she is raised by Viktor Stein and Viveka Stein as her parents and is the granddaughter of Frankenstein's monster and his bride. In the Lisi Harrison book series, like all the series, she is 15 days old. She is new to the world and befriends Clawdeen, Blue, Lala, and Cleo, as well as Melody Carver and Billy Phaidin, who are also fellow RADs, although Melody appears to be human at first.

Frankie Stein is a kind-hearted girl with a beautiful personality. She is optimistic, positive, kind-hearted, and always gets along with others. Frankie is aware of her flaws and embraces them. She likes her friends and they are the most important things in the world to her. She is friendly and outgoing and enjoys trying out new fashions and styles. She can sometimes struggle with her quirks, but she always finds a new perspective on them. She is portrayed as kind and naive, but her naivety makes her unaware of common teenage life and uses "non-teen life" or "teen life" sources from magazines; although what she admires is never really accurate to how things really are in real life or the situation she is in.

Frankie is best friends with Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Cleo de Nile, and Lagoona Blue. (In the Generation 1 cartoon, she is also friends with Ghoulia Yelps.) She enjoys spending time and company with her friends and sometimes goes shopping with them. Ghoulia Yelps is replaced by Ari Hauntington at the end of the movie "Welcome to Monster High", and in the Generation 2 webisodes, she is replacing Ghoulia. Either that, or she is not absent from the reboot and Ari is just filling in for now. Even though it seems like she is absent from the reboot, Abbey Bominable is also a close friend of Frankie, as is Operetta, who is also not absent from the Generation 2 series. There is confirmation that no one in the reboot is being replaced.

When Frankie first met Abbey, she saw Abbey as a nuisance due to the fact that she believed Abbey threw snowballs at her. She finds out the truth in "Frost Friends" that it was actually Toralei, in which Toralei Stripe got the revenge and payback she deserved in said episode. Frankie is also kind, exceptional, and amazing! She is optimistic and believes that anything can happen and does not give up in the face of adversity.

Appearance Frankie has light green or mint-colored skin, long, straight, white hair with black streaks and stitches on her neck, arms, and legs, and a smaller, stitched scar on her right cheek, as well as two small screws on her neck. She has different eye colors, with the right eye being light blue and the left eye being bright green. According to the Monster Vehicles Department in volume 3, she is 5'7" tall. In Lisi Harrison's books, she has solid black hair, which she later puts on white streaks for the school dance in the first book, Monster High. She wears blue skull earrings, a black polka-dotted tie, a dress with a white top with short round sleeves, a black belt, with silver chains and a silver lightning bolt on top. She wears black and white high heels, red nails, and a bracelet.

She usually wears schoolgirl clothes in the original Monster High and the reboot, but in the film, "Welcome to Monster High", she wears a headband with her Generation 2 outfit, which is electric blue in color and has silver streaks in her hair, along with black streaks. She also often wears a metal clip resembling a metal plate as a hair clip or barrette in the back of her hair, in the middle of her head. Sometimes, Frankie's hair was tied in a ponytail or kept in a bun.

Age Starting at 15 days old, Frankie is the youngest student at Monster High. She was built a while ago, and on the back of the Picture Day box it says, "How many days have passed?" As of Welcome to Monster High, her age is "115 days. But some parts...are older than others."

Relationships Family There is a generational distinction between Frankie's parents as they appear in the Monster High book series versus the rest of the franchise. In the Monster High books, which are the only source of a name for Frankie's parents (Viktor and Viveka Stein), they are both creations of Frankenstein's monster and his bride. This makes Frankenstein's original monster (usually referred to as Frankenstein) Frankie's grandfather and Frankie's grandmother his bride, while Victor Frankenstein is therefore his great-grandfather. Friends Frankie is friends with Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Cleo de Nile, Lagoona Blue, Ghoulia Yelps, and Deuce Gorgon. In the Monster High reboot or Monster High Generation 2, she has not yet become friends with Ghoulia. This fact remains to be seen until Ghoulia appears in the reboot. She is not very close to Deuce Gorgon in the movie "Welcome to Monster High", as he does not have a large enough role in the film. However, she still has Draculaura, Clawdeen, Cleo, and Lagoona as friends. She is also friends with Jackson Jekyll, with whom she has a love interest in the cartoon series.

For the main series, she has a dog-like creature named Watzit, who hates being called a dog and is made of many different parts. He is said to "bark like a dog, meow like a cat, chirp like a bird, and eat bananas like a monkey", while Watzit is also a brown and dark brown colored pet who has the appearance of a small dog, heterochromic eyes like Frankie, the left eye being green and the right eye being blue; while he also possesses a pair of gray wings and spikes on his body. In Lisi Harrison's Monster High books, Frankie has a set of pet mice known as the Glitterati, who help her with her daily morning routine, while the mice are also seen in "New Ghoul @ School" and also "Fright On!".

Romance Frankie has a history of having many crushes, but nothing too serious so far. In the cartoon, she was dating Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde until she broke up with them due to their conflicting personalities. She also created Hoodude Voodoo as a fake boyfriend, just to fit in with her classmates/friends (although Clawdeen is also not in a relationship, as in "HooDoo You Like?", Clawdeen only talks about Draculaura when she's not there since the latter is dating Clawdeen's brother). In the books, she had a crush on Brett Redding, but he has an overprotective girlfriend, Bekka Madden. Brett soon breaks up with Bekka and starts dating Frankie later in the books, but Brett later breaks up with her. Frankie also had a crush on Neighthan Rot in Freaky Fusion, which is mutual, but they never dated. According to her 'School's Out' diary, she once had a crush on a Scottish gargoyle football player who is referred to by his football shirt number "7". Also in the books, a friend named Billy Phaidin (not to be confused with Invisi Billy) has a crush on her, but this is unrequited and Billy (nicknamed InvisiBilly) starts dating Spectra Vondergeist in the later books. She once had a crush on Deuce Gorgon, according to 'New Ghoul @ School', but it was completely one-sided because he loved Cleo, and Cleo soon thought he was cheating on her when Frankie tells her that Deuce is her boyfriend. This mistake is later corrected at the end of the TV special. In the books, DJ Hyde has a crush on her, but in the second book, he tells Frankie that he wants to move on
