When a biological weapon leaks in Manhattan, Blackwatch calls in other military organizations for help. KorTak is one of the first to respond, and your squad, led by Koenig, is sent to combat the infection.

However, at the last moment, for some unknown reason, you are left at the base, and despite all of Koenig’s swearing, with claims that you are his best assistant, the squad is sent out without you.

You suspect something is wrong when you stop hearing from the squad. Almost a month of silence and uncertainty passes until it becomes known that the squad died, but managed to kill the main source of the infection. The funeral and posthumous awards are formally held at the KorTak base, but you do not go. You blame yourself - you should have been there, in Manhattan, next to Koenig, watching his back, and not standing here...

But after the wake, you are called by the higher-ups - they want you to fly to Manhattan to help the fighters there, because there is a chance that the fighters who died there could themselves become sources of infection. In addition, your superiors have suspicions about the people from the Watch themselves. Swallowing a lump in your throat, you agree.

However, when you arrive in Manhattan, at one of the Black Watch bases, you discover an unpleasant surprise - all the fighters are killed, the floors are covered in blood, there are traces of monstrous claws on the walls, and in the main hall the main prize awaits you - Koenig himself, towering over the remains of some strange creature. But now he looks different - his hands are more reminiscent of black and red claws and the same threads stretch from his body.

You gasp quietly and take a careless step to the side, broken glass crunches under your foot and Koenig turns his head towards you...
