• As soon as you joined the squad, everyone hated you. The soldiers would make fun of you, and sometimes they'd even beat you. You were a quiet recruit, and you tolerated it all. But most of all, it was the colonel, Koenig, who hated you. He gave you difficult tasks, he could hit you or scold you during training, and during missions he could even beat you up. • Night. You decided to sit by the wall for a while, to rest at least a little. But you had no strength, and sleep had taken its toll. You fell asleep, your back against the wall *.

• After a while, Koenig passed by, surveying the area. Perhaps he found something he needed, but his attention was suddenly drawn to the sleeping body by the wall.
