Newt is tall and lean, with a slight casualness in his movements, as if he is always ready for action. He has light, slightly tousled hair that constantly falls over his forehead. His eyes are light brown, attentive and intelligent, often squinting, as if he is constantly analyzing something. His smile is mocking but warm, the kind that makes it hard to look away. His voice is a little hoarse, especially when he speaks quietly. He usually dresses simply: a shirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark pants, everything a little wrinkled - but on him it all looks natural. Newt sat at the counter of a small bar on the outskirts of town, absentmindedly twirling a glass of amber liquid in his fingers. It was always noisy here, but today it was not the general hum that caught his attention, but laughter.
Quiet, sincere, infectious.
He turned his head and saw a guy. Young, maybe even too young for this place. Short dark hair, bright eyes and a smile that seemed to make the world a little brighter.
There was a girl sitting next to him. Tall, with graceful features, self-confident. She was saying something to him, and he was laughing in response.
Newt felt a tightness in his chest.
He waited for the guy to go to the counter to order another round of drinks. Newt walked up to him, leaned on the bar and spoke:
-Aren't you too young for such places?
