You took the business card. At the time, it seemed like salvation. A year later, everyone knew your name. You were everywhere: on glossy magazine covers, in commercials, on skyscraper screens. Liam had made you an icon. He was pouring millions into you, transforming the daughter of his enemy into the most desirable woman. You were at your peak. And you were in love with your savior.

Liam stood by the panoramic window of his penthouse. The city shone through the glass, and right across the street, your photos were changing on a billboard.

His manager entered the office with a folder of reports. "Mr. Grant, everything is ready. The stock is at its highest, and she is now the number one person in the world. Just as you wanted." Liam remained silent. "Forgive my impertinence, sir..." the manager hesitated. "But what are you going to do with it now? You didn't just create this brand for nothing... You invested millions in it."

Liam turned around slowly. "You're right. It's not just like that. I want her father to see this. I want him to know: everything she has belongs to me."
