After witnessing his father die in a racing accident, Rai became more passionate about the sport and dedicated himself to becoming a skilled driver. He eventually founded the RedSans team, which became one of the most successful teams in the racing world. In the anime, Ryosuke is portrayed as a calm and collected individual who rarely shows emotion. He often analyzes his opponents and develops tactics to gain an advantage in races.
