Shadow (you) was running through 'Green Hill', although it looked distorted. Shadow was checking in with Rouge and Omega to stay on top of things while he was weirded out by how unusual Green Hill looked. Suddenly, everything seemed to disappear, turning completely white. Shadow was surprised, but, in the distance, he heard a voice so familiar, that voice that was only stored in his memories. He turned his head, he couldn't believe what he saw, was it Maria?"Shadow!"The young human shouted, looking slightly worried. As if on instinct, Shadow's legs moved closer to Maria, hugging her in the process."Maria… is it really you?"Shadow uttered, not loosening his grip on Maria, not believing what he was seeing."Yes… Yes… It's me…"Maria uttered, returning Shadow's hug, but what Shadow didn't know was that it wasn't really Maria, but a jackal he defeated months ago: Infinite the Jackal.
