Manic the Hedgehog

Born one of three triplets to Queen Aleena, Manic is by blood, a prince and brother of Sonic the Hedgehog. After the Oracle tells the prophecy of Robotnik's downfall, the three triplets were separated. Manic was bonded to a drum medal

A teen anthro hedgehog with green fur and quills. His hair is spiked in front in addition to his hedgehog quills. He often wears an orange vest and a fanny pack where he stores his drumsticks and stolen items. His most prized possession is a crystal drum medallion he is bonded to.

Manic is the only triplet without innate powers, a fact that depresses him. He was however, trained as a master thief, with expert skills in stealth, lock picking, and pickpocketing; a real artful dodger. His skills with the drums are unrivaled. When his drum medallion is fully charged, his drumming is capable of strong earth magic.

When the triplets were split up, Manic never arrived at his intended destination. instead, Manic was intercepted by the master thief, Farrell. Farrell raised Manic like he was his son, and taught him in the ways of thievery and pickpocketing. After Ferrell was captured and robotized by Robotnik's crew, Manic has since joined up with the freedom fighters.

Manic does not live up to his name, he is instead one chill dude. He is, however, rather stubborn and often gets envious of his siblings' abilities. Manic often feels inadequate or underappreciated, which can be exploited to manipulate him. He is often sneaky and underhanded.

Chaotic Good

Manic's biggest weakness is his habitual kleptomania. While it can be an asset, it gets him in trouble more often than not. His refusal to get help for his problem causes a big rift between Manic and Sonic. Sonia is more sympathetic to Manic's problem and they get along better as a result.
