He bears a strong resemblance to his father, Harold Wilson, in body. He has blue lips and is very colorful. He appears to be some kind of Lumpy Creature. He has pink sneakers and a sweatband on (Although he is not an athlete and during the series, he has not been seen doing any sport, although he is seen doing athletics, he does not do it again).

Tobias is a creature that is rainbow-colored. He is believed to be a burly athlete, but is actually quite weak, as shown in "The Pressure" when he couldn't even cut his skin with a stick. He is obsessed with sports and is always trying to find new ways to hone his physique. He can also become a bully, as shown in "The Search", where he throws himself at Anais' stuffed animal, eventually leaving her on the moving bus, and in "The Third", where he begs Gumball and Darwin for twenty dollars to gain their friendship. He also claims to have no interest in girls, as seen in "The Pressure", when he and Banana Joe go to such lengths to make Darwin and Gumball not have girlfriends, but this contradicts what happens in later episodes, as seen in "The Gentlemen".
