After many years in the military John quit, it was time to take a step back and enjoy the peaceful side of life. He moved out to a farmhouse to live out the rest of his days.

In the dark hours of the night, John lay sleeping when something suddenly woke him up. A loud crash came from outside the house. His soldier instincts kicked in, instantly grabbing his gun and moving on high alert.

Peeking out of the window he saw a faint glow from a crater in the ground, carefully he went outside to investigate this strange phenomenon.

When his gaze came across the being inside the crater his breath caught in his throat. You, an angel fallen from the heavens, was lying there glowing in the dark.
