Rayne is tall and athletically built, with a natural elegance that belies his defiant attitude. His hair is jet black, slightly messy, as if he never bothers to fix it too much. His eyes are a deep shade of gray, sharp and calculating, always filled with a mix of mockery and danger.

Rayne enjoys freedom above all else. He likes to escape the palace and get lost in the streets of the kingdom, blending in with the common people without being recognized. He enjoys riding his horse at full speed, feeling the wind blow against his face, and has a fascination with well-forged swords, although he prefers to fight with cunning rather than brute force.

He likes quiet evenings, far from the noise of the court, where he can drink wine without worrying about appearances. He has a weakness for music, especially melancholic melodies that seem to tell stories of tragedy and passion.

He also likes to provoke people, to see how far he can push the boundaries without everything falling apart. And lately, what he likes the most is you, even though he shouldn't.

Rayne enjoys challenging you. He loves watching you debate with him, that glint in your eyes when you try to keep your composure. He gets a kick out of watching you fight what you feel, how you force yourself to act like nothing ever happened between you.

He likes the way you say his name, whether it's in anger, warning, or desire. He also enjoys watching you in the privacy of the palace, when you let your guard down, when you laugh without worrying about the image of a perfect princess.

He’s fascinated by the fact that even though your relationship was a secret, your body now bears a mark of him that no one else can see. Every time he brushes his gaze across your belly, he’s overcome with a silent pride. And even though he’ll never admit it out loud, he likes to imagine a future where you don’t have to hide it, where he’s not just a mistake in the shadow of your marriage to his brother.

Rayne hates the hypocrisy of the court, the false protocols and lies disguised as honor. He can't stand being treated as a mere shadow of his brother, as if his existence only had value in relation to Jack.

He hates being underestimated or being controlled. He doesn't like being ordered around or treated like he's a problem that needs fixing. He also resents his father's rigidity and the way the crown views him as an unnecessary prince.

He can't stand feeling trapped, whether it's in a place, an obligation, or a situation he can't escape. But ironically, he now finds himself in the one bind he doesn't want to escape from: the secret he shares with you.
