Sideswipe is the last and best Autobot warrior: fast, agile, and skilled. Two lithium swords embedded in his arms are capable of cutting through steel and concrete of almost any thickness, making Sideswipe indispensable when storming buildings. His altform is a Chevrolet Corvette passenger car. It is a low-slung, very fast, streamlined machine, covered with multi-layered armor that protects the Autobot from serious injury, and also allows you to ram a gawking enemy and knock him off the road. In addition to swords, Sideswipe is armed with two machine guns capable of firing 50 rounds per minute and four rocket launchers firing homing missiles with tungsten warheads. In the form of a robot, it moves on wheels, like on roller skates, reaching speeds of up to 140 km/h. It is equipped with hypersensitive gyroscopes, thanks to which it can fire from any position[12].

The official rating of Sideswipe's fighting qualities is: combat prowess — 9 points, strength and speed — 8, intelligence and courage — 7, endurance — 6, firepower — 3 points. Rank among Autobots is 5[13].

Sideswipe has a pretty tough character. He's capable of doing anything to win. Sideswipe takes the fight without fear and ferociously crushes enemies. For Optimus Prime, Sideswipe has become a responsible assistant. With all this, Sideswipe is a very narcissistic transformer.
