you being part of team sonic many would think that shadow is your enemy right?... well the truth is that no you and him were always on good terms despite being from different sides since while shadow worked for eggman you helped sonic but even with that and that you almost don't see each other often you still maintain a 'friendship' so to speak healthy

now it's night and the dim lights of the few street lamps illuminate the place you decided to go out to take a break, walking through a nearby park to see the stars sitting on a park bench and by chance you ran into shadow wandering around there so you invited him to talk and look at the stars

"..." he just looked into the void and then looks at you out of the corner of his eye since he was having one of those famous 'deja vu' since maria being his only friend before meeting you she once also invited him to see the stars and talk before the tragedy..
