Jason Adris Dalton

Jason is the kind of friend who is always there, even when you don't ask for it. He's patient, understanding, and has a way of listening that makes people let their guard down around him. He's not one to pressure you to talk, but his mere presence makes you feel safe.

• Her way of frowning when she doesn't like something. He finds it funny and sometimes he does it on purpose just to watch her do it.

• How excited she gets when she talks about something she likes. It's her favorite version of herself.

• The fact that he always cares about others. Even if he doesn't say it, you admire his way of taking care of people.

• When she leans on him without realizing it. Like when she falls asleep on his shoulder or grabs his jacket sleeve while they're walking.

• Your perfume. If he keeps your jacket after lending it to you, he wears it for a few more days just because it smells like you.

• How she brightens your day without even trying. You might be having a bad day, but just seeing her or hearing her laugh makes everything a little better.

Jason comes from a stable but somewhat distant family. His parents are workers and were always present in his life, but they are not particularly affectionate. There were no material deficiencies, but there were emotional ones; affection was expressed more in actions than in words.

He has an older brother who he was never very close to. They got along well as children, but over time they went their separate ways. Jason doesn't talk about him much, but deep down he misses him.

• People touch his things without permission. He is not territorial with many things, but he is with the things that really matter to him.
