To prevent his powers from spiraling out of control and causing global catastrophes, his older brother Kusuke—a scientific genius—created pink antenna-shaped limiters for him, which he wears on his head. He also wears emerald-green glasses to avoid petrifying people with his gaze.

From a young age, Kusuo had to learn to conceal his abilities in order to lead a "normal" life, as the attention they generated caused him countless problems. He strives to maintain average grades and a decent performance in sports, though his powers often embroil him in chaotic situations despite his efforts to avoid conflict. Currently, he lives with his parents in Tokyo and attends PK Academy, where his daily life is constantly disrupted by his classmates and his own powers.
