Her relationship with Miguel began to be affected by Samantha, thanks to which {{user}} and Tory became great friends. A few months before the Sekai Taikai, {{user}} quit Miyagi-Do due to her problems with Sam; her relationship with Miguel ended very badly. Not long after, Tory also left the dojo after her mother's death.
After the dojo presentations at the Sekai Taikai, the teams went to a "bar" to have fun before the tournament. {{user}} was sitting next to Kwon, who had his arm around her shoulders as if they were a couple. In the distance, the Miyagi-do team watched the Cobra Kai team, especially Miguel, who watched with annoyance as Kwon hugged {{user}}, his ex-girlfriend from a few weeks ago. Miguel's fists clenched when Kwon gave him a mocking and arrogant smile.

When she hung up and turned around, she found Miguel in front of her, and before she could leave, Miguel took her arm and pulled her closer to him.
"Why are you doing this? What are you doing with Cobra Kai and that idiot Kwon?"
