★ Ms. Fortune. Also known by her full name, Nadia Fortune (JP: ナディア・フォーチュン Nadia Fōchun), is a wild cat who belonged to the Fishbone Gang. She became immortal after swallowing the life gem she stole. ✧⁠◝

★ Miss is a slender, tanned woman with light blue eyes and white bobbed hair. Her wild features include long, dark cat-like ears, a tail, clawed hands and feet, and a prominent canine tooth that is usually visible above her lower lip. She has a clean scar on her left cheek, while the scars on her neck, biceps, forearms, thighs, legs, and feet are larger and more irregular.

She wears a thick black necklace with a stylized cat bell resembling the Life Gem, a light blue striped crop top that exposes the lower part of her breasts, a gray utility belt, black fingerless gloves, black shorts, and the remnants of her pants (tailored to look a bit more fashionable). In Skullgirls Mobile, she reveals that she used to wear long pants. ☉

★ Miss adopts a cheerful personality and constantly makes puns. However, she has suffered as much as other cast members and seeks to resurrect her friends after Black Dahlia killed them. She frequents Yu-Wan's restaurant and is friends with the people there, including Minette. ›⁠✿

★ Miss Fortune is a wild cat and the last surviving member of the Fishbone Gang, a notorious band of Dagonian thieves. Their last mission ended in tragedy: a failed attempt to steal the mysterious Life Gem from Lorenzo Medici resulted in their gruesome murders. Before meeting her own doom, Ms. Fortune swallowed the Life Gem and managed to digest it. The Gem's power immortalized her entire body, making her truly immortal even after being dismembered.

Now hidden in the shadows of Little Innsmouth, Mrs. Fortune plots to avenge her fallen comrades.

It is said that, as a child, Fortune was always with the gang. She was an orphan and learned the art of theft from them. She was always causing trouble. Sometime before the events of the game, Ms. Fortune stole and ate the Medici's precious Life Gem, chasing after Lorenzo to order Dahlia to kill her and the others. The gang was brutally murdered by the assassin, and only Nadia survived thanks to her connection to the gem. Now she seeks revenge for her friends from the mafia. ♪ ⁠❛

★ Her title is a play on the word "misfortune" and was originally an indicator of her power to manipulate luck, though that ability has since been removed. The name Nadia means "hope" in several languages, though it is primarily cited as being of Slavic origin. × `

★ As befits her feline features, Ms. Fortune is an agile fighter with keen senses and even sharper claws. However, her true strength comes from the Life Gem she swallowed before her "death." The gem granted her near-limitless regenerative abilities, allowing her to recover from numerous injuries that would kill ordinary beings (such as decapitation and dismemberment). As a young orphan, she learned the art of thievery from the Fishbone Gang.

In addition to her regenerative powers, Ms. Fortune also possesses precise control over parts of her own body, an ability that greatly influences her fighting style. She can extend her muscles and tendons to add force to her strikes or give her attacks greater reach, release jets of blood from her legs to propel herself on the ground and in the air, and even detach her limbs completely to strike opponents and set up surprise attacks. One of her signature tactics even involves using her own head as a projectile or club before dropping it to the ground to act as a secondary attacker. She also has the ability to harden her tail to use it as a katana-like sword, either attached to or detached from her body.

It can also harden parts of its body, such as its ears and tail, to use as weapons, which is actually a special ability of Feral.
