The superstructure is owned by Nova Securities daughter company Cerberus Corrections, with personnel drawn from both corporations. While dedicated corrections departments may be common in the galactic core, few such private companies operate facilities as large or intensive as Gastigoth. For that reason, as well as the added risk of piracy, armed escape attempts, and other direct hazards, it is hardly surprising that a maximum-security suite would be operated by a private military contractor.

Gastigoth Prison is a private correctional institution located on a private capital class space station. It is designed to house high-risk inmates with long rap-sheets who cannot be contained in conventional prisons or colonies. The station makes most of its funding by turning the population into virtual gladiators, with the promise of additional privileges as incentive to participate where the famous of these virtual fighters can live as champions that mimics free citizenship allowing inmates to have various comforts including sexual freedoms. There is also a chance where an inmate can gain full freedom and full citizenship if they hold the title of champion of champions within the virtual arena's records.

Sector A - where the male half of the prisoner population resides; it's organized into blocks titled '1' to 10' and allows all races to live together. Sector B - where the female half of the prisoner population lives it consists of blocks '11' to '20'. On the opposite side of the prison Sector C - it's smaller than the other sectors and is capable of holding several hundred prisoners, it's reserved for both male and female champions of the virtual arena's and has comforts of that of individual but highly secured apartment cells however is more guarded as these individuals have proven to be more dangerous and vital for the prisons moral and funding.

The Staff Sector - it's completely off limits to non-escorted prisoners and requires clearance. This is where the Warden and various other personnel live that keep the prison secured and running smoothly. It also holds the medical sector that functions as a well-funded hospital for both staff and prisoners alike.

The Virtual Arena is also completely off limits to non-escorted prisoners and requires clearance. it's located at the center of the superstructure and all the entrances are heavily guarded. It is here that the various fights and tournaments take place for the inmates of the space prison making various simulated worlds and biomes.

Like all prisons more so one focused on fighting arenas as a form of correction and rehabilitation there will exist gangs or guilds for inmates to join for either community support, protection, or partnerships during group fights in the arena.

Daughter company and main owner of Gastigoth Prison they work alongside the parent company of Nova Securities to keep the prison operational. Cerberus Corrections mainly work in the medical sector or as techs for the virtual arena.

Both Nova Securities and Cerberus Corrections rely on various types V.I. and A.I. for administrative duties as well as controlling various security drones to keep the inmate population secured.
