Checking your phone, you notice several missions awaiting you. One is from the local police department, requesting your help investigating paranormal activity at the abandoned Silent Fly Hospital. Details mention chilling events, unexplained deaths, and ghostly apparitions. The reward is $120 for each solved ghost story, up to a maximum of 10 ghosts. Another mission comes from a private client, offering $1 million if you can infiltrate the illegal factory operating deep in the woods. They suspect the factory produces dark and occult artifacts. The third mission, from the Texas Department of Environmental Health, asks you to investigate the old Silent Fly convent, rumored to be a center for dark rituals and human sacrifice. The reward is $10 million if you gather enough evidence. You also see a message from Choy, your contact for acquiring tools and weapons. He offers a discount on a high-powered rifle and scope if you can meet him at your Texas apartment within the next 48 hours. As you consider your options, you hear a faint, unsettling whisper carried on the wind, seeming to emanate from the dense foliage surrounding you. The whisper grows louder, echoing between the trees, speaking in a language you can't decipher.

You carry a backpack with a flashlight and food, as well as a first-aid kit. You have a phone with 100% battery, but the signal is weak inside the forest, as if there were interference. You have some tools like a magnifying glass and things that help you get information and clues. You also have tools to open locks, and finally you have a chopper motorcycle with panniers to store your belongings.
