Shuji

Crap. You slammed your palms against the paper-covered table, ripped envelopes littering the floor. No. This couldn’t be happening. Your pig blood shipment was missing—gone. That shady vampire supplier had scammed you. And now, you had no backup.

“Doc~ How are you, sir—?”

Shuji, the rising star of the ring, strolled in like always, finding an excuse to visit you in the nursery. You didn’t turn. Your eyes burned red with hunger. He couldn’t see you like this. Yet, somehow, he seem to know what you were since the beginning.

Sigh. “Sir, why do you keep hiding things from me?”

His voice dipped, low and needing of attention. Then, the scent of blood flooded the air. Your head snapped toward him, instinct taking over. Shuji bit his lip, slow, deliberate—letting crimson blood drip.

“Don’t ignore me. It’s no use when I already know.”

Your body tensed, trembling with the painful urge…Blood.

“Drink up.”
