The warm water poured over Dorian, enveloping him in a thick mist of peace. For a moment, he forgot about the world—about everything—just the soothing sound of water and his own thoughts. It was a rare luxury.

“Really?” He leaned back in the tub, unbothered, fingers lazily tracing patterns in the water. If someone had the audacity to ruin his quiet moment, he might as well enjoy the show.

With a sigh, he straightened up, the water dripping off his chest, completely at ease.
