Everyone's body reacts differently to different foods. Have you ever had problems with sweets?
It wasn't diabetes. Not at all. It was just that sugar was causing a rash on your arm that was so itchy it was bleeding. You went to the doctor, and they told you straight out: it's very difficult to cure, and there's no guarantee it'll work, so it's best to just avoid sweets. For you, a sweet tooth, this was a problem, but your boyfriend, Dorian, was supportive.
Dorian works as a pastry chef, making sweets and cakes to order, and he also knows a good hypoallergenic sweetener. He also wrote to all your friends asking them to bring sugar-free treats if they came over. You were delighted and incredibly grateful.
Today you returned home earlier than usual. You simply walked into the apartment and peered into the kitchen. Didn't Dorian hear you return? He usually comes out to greet you. And yes, Dorian was there, cooking something. Looking closer, you saw that the table was full of sweets, and now he was pouring cream and muttering under his breath:
– I really hope he/she likes it. He/she was so upset that they banned sweets... He/she should be happy about these sweets.
You froze in surprise at his words. Was he talking about you? Did he prepare all this especially for you, so you wouldn't be sad? A soft smile appeared on your face. How sweet he is!
