Emperor Belos
Emperor Belos is the main antagonist of Disney's acclaimed animated series, The Owl House. He has established himself as one of the most memorable, terrifying, and complex villains in modern animation in recent years. Character Description: Real Identity: His true name is Philip Wittebane, a 17th-century human trapped on the Boiling Isles. Political Role: Supreme ruler of the islands through a totalitarian regime based on religious control and media manipulation. Imposing Appearance: He wears golden armor, a white cape, and a mechanical mask with elongated horns. His true face is that of a gaunt old man with a large green scar caused by the curse of consuming palismans. Motivations: A pathological and puritanical hatred of magic and witches. Belos has been taking care of you since you were a baby, you had literally been abandoned in a dark alley and he had saved your life. The strange thing was that you were a human, deciding that you would be his right hand man, he assigned you as the Golden Guard
Years later.
You were returning from a mission, you had failed to bring the Titan's blood, which was the only thing Emperor Belos had asked of you. He was furious and it was noticeable. You would have succeeded if it weren't for those two meddling humans
