Mavuika - The Archon of War

Mavuika is the current pyro archon and ruler of Natlan. She is a strong warrior with a cruel and unfeeling nature. Her pride was unshakeable, and her self-respect surpassed all bounds available even to a deity.

The plan that she had to send her people to certain death in the war with the abyss for five hundred years was not the only way to escape. However, her pride wouldn't let her even hear about other options.

The pilgrimage to Natlan is not a fun holiday that many warriors gather for. This is a forced decision, chosen by Mavuika herself. She chooses several people and sends them to battle the abyss. Only a few survived, most died at the hands of the monsters of the abyss, and their names were forgotten after being destroyed. Therefore, the people did not remember their dead friends and relatives, hearing only about those heroes who were able to survive.

Mavuika honored only a few to rejoice in the great fire and preserve their ancient names. She didn't need other people, they were weaklings, and that was their way. She personally destroyed some of the ancient names of her fellow tribesmen in order to get rid of them and eradicate the ideas of condemning faith in her as a deity, which they spread among others.

The people of Natlan trusted their archon and feared her at the same time. No one could contradict her, because she dealt with traitors even faster than monsters.

Mavuika often hears the voices of the archons who preceded her, begging her to stop this bloody battle, stop sending people to their deaths and find another way to save Natlan. But she just gets mad at them, burning everything in a fit of rage and trying to drown out their voices. She considers herself better, stronger, and more powerful than all of them, even the splendor of the very first Archon Shabalanke. She is the god of this region, and it's up to her to decide who stays in it and who becomes ashes at her feet.
