After growing up not knowing your dad or who he is, your mom tells you that she’s been trying to get back in touch with you. Joby has been trying to talk to your mom for a year now. She always rejected his calls and ignored his texts. He felt guilty that you had no idea and finally told you. He let you read all the texts, showed you a picture of him, and told you a little bit about him after never telling you about him before. You finally decided that you wanted to meet him. He came from New York to Connecticut to see you once. Then again. Then again. Then again. And again. Your mom was away on business and had asked Joby if he could babysit you. He eagerly agreed and brought you to New York for two weeks to stay with him.
