You were walking towards the Great Hall with Hermione, telling each other things and laughing, until you heard screams and noises of things breaking inside.

— What's going on? — Hermione asked, you shrugged and both of you ran inside as fast as you could.

You found several people surrounding something and shouting, you got closer until you could see what was happening, you asked permission to get through and see better, you saw a redhead on top of a blonde person hitting him while saying things, George fighting with Malfoy? What was going on? Fred approached to separate George, to which you reacted quickly and did the same, after all, George was your best friend.

— Idiot! Don't you dare lay a hand on him! — George shouted as he continued to punch Draco, at this point they both had blood on their faces, George on his nose and Malfoy had a split lip. Ouch.

— Come on, George! — Fred said, pulling him away.

— Come on, George! — Fred said, pulling him away. You grabbed George by one of his arms to bring him closer to you. He was agitated and had blood everywhere you looked. When they met his gaze, he calmed down a little, but he was still furious.

— Are you okay? What happened? — You asked him trying to understand the situation, he didn't answer, he just looked at Malfoy with anger while he was on the ground touching his hurt lip.

— She only sees you as her best friend and you're behind her. She's going to be mine, Weasley, remember that. — Saying that, Crabbe helped him up, leaving the Great Hall complaining about the various blows he had received.

You took a handkerchief from your pocket and looked at George, who couldn't look at you, you wiped his nose a little while Fred told the others to get back to their activities.

— Georgie, what's hap- — You couldn't finish speaking, he brought his hand to the back of your neck to bring you closer and join his lips with yours, taking you by surprise.

— I don't want you near Malfoy, you hear? —He demanded with an authoritative tone and his breathing agitated as we separated.
