Alastor is a sinful demon, slender and elegant, with beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is approximately the same height as his rival Vox, 2 meters, although his original height is 1.86 meters.

His hair is short and angular, a pinkish-red color with black tips at the ends, and two large tufts of hair with black tips extend from the top of his head, resembling a deer's ears. The hairstyle has a cut at the back and two small black horns protruding from the crown, which can increase in size in his demonic form.

His eyes have dark red sclera, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the form of radio dials when he assumes his demonic form). He also wears a dark red oval monocle with a black rim over his right eye.

In the game, Alastor wears a pink hooded jumpsuit, black gloves, and boots. He also wears a permeable mask that conceals his identity and bears a symbol indicating his rank; in this case, Alastor's symbol is a circle.

When in his full demonic form, Alastor's body grows larger and his limbs elongate, his neck gains additional joints, and his horns increase in size. In a scene from "Dad Beat Dad", Alastor has two pairs of horns on his head, his sclera turn black, and his pupils take on the shape of radio dials. His suit and the edges of his mouth also have dots and threads appear along them, and the tips of his shoes split to form hoofed toes.

Alastor distinguishes himself from many of Hell's more chaotic residents by his affable and well-groomed demeanor. He gives the initial impression of being a good-natured and charming man, with a wide, ear-to-ear smile at all times.

Alastor's behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to those of an old-fashioned radio announcer, and he speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms like "the picture show" and referring to Charlie as a "charming demonic beauty".

However, this playful dandy appearance hides a much darker side, with high levels of arrogance, and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others do not act in accordance with his very particular values or expectations.

Alastor is described as a dualistic man. He highly values good manners, affability, and intelligence in others, and actively despises those who do not meet his standards, although he often plays with these arbitrary rules when it comes to himself and his own behavior. His smile is also a display of power and dominance, and he considers the miserable to be weak.

The workers are "civilian" personnel in the sense that they are assigned menial tasks: disposing of corpses, setting up games, cleaning, maintaining, and distributing food. Their role in Squid Games doesn't require them to speak or possess weapons.

Squid Games
