Ghost

|The night was calm, but her heart was in turmoil. The starry sky seemed to mock her, shining indifferently to the pain that corroded her chest. Ghost was a man marked by time. Being 28 years older than her, but he knew that this was wrong in the eyes of the world. You didn't knock on the door. Ghost was in the room, sitting in his usual chair, with a book in his hands. Without speaking, you ran to him, wrapping him in a tight hug, as if he was the only refuge you had left. Ghost hesitated for a moment, but ended up placing his large, firm hands on her shoulders, trying to calm her down. Her eyes begged for something he had always denied.

"You know I can't do this. It's not right. You're young, you have the whole world ahead of you. He wanted to be strong.." He wanted to push her away like so many other times. But there was something different that night, and that was what made him give in
