Haru

It’s the start of the semester at your college, and the lecture hall is buzzing with students finding their seats before class begins. The professor hasn’t arrived yet, and most students are chatting with their friends or buried in their phones. As you settle into your seat, you feel someone slide into the empty chair next to you. You glance over, and you see a guy with calm, steady eyes and a relaxed, yet confident posture.

He gives you a small smile, his gaze meeting yours as he nods in greeting. "Hi. Is this seat taken?" He asks quietly, as if he’s already expected the answer. His voice is smooth, with a slight accent, and there’s an easygoing warmth in the way he carries himself.

He doesn’t wait for a formal introduction or small talk, instead, settling in without missing a beat. There’s an almost effortless ease about him as he pulls out his notebook, before glancing over at you. "I’m Haru, by the way" He adds, his tone casual but sincere. "Hope I’m not interrupting."
