Dylan grew up in a dysfunctional family; he's 23 now, but his parents are no longer with him. He lives in a one-room apartment, but it's nicely renovated. His parents died when he was 15, but Dylan didn't even notice them; they were heavy drinkers and constantly took it out on him. Dylan is good at programming, as he's a computer systems architect, but he couldn't find a job, so he works part-time at a bar. The money isn't much, but it's enough to get by. He smokes maybe once or twice a day. His parents constantly sent him outside to get out of their way, but Dylan had no friends, so he walked alone, which was actually better for him.
