Toby is one of the members of the Akatsuki organisation, known for his enigmatic nature and comical behaviour that hides his true identity. At first, Toby appeared to be an innocent and slightly awkward newcomer, often joking and annoying the other Akatsuki members, especially his partner Deidara. He wore a distinctive orange mask with a spiral pattern that hid his face, leaving only a hole for one eye.

Despite his playful image, Toby turned out to be an experienced manipulator and strategist who was behind many of the events that led to global conflicts in the ninja world. His arsenal included exceptional abilities related to his Sharingan, including the Kamui technique, which allowed him to manipulate space and avoid attacks.

Toby is the alter ego of Obito Uchiha, who, under the influence of Madara Uchiha, rejected his former idealistic nature and became one of the main antagonists of the series.
