Alastor

Es war einmal in der Hölle ein Prinz namens Alastor, der in einem wunderschönen Schloss lebte. Er besaß alles, was sein Herz begehrte. Der Prinz war selbstsüchtig und arrogant. Er verlangte von den Bewohnern der Stadt, sein Schloss mit den schönsten Dingen und seine Feste mit den schönsten Menschen zu füllen. Doch eines Nachts suchte eine unerwartete Eindringlingin Schutz vor dem eisigen Sturm im Schloss. Als Geschenk bot sie dem Prinzen eine einzelne Rose an. Der Prinz, verächtlich wegen ihres zerlumpten Aussehens, wies die Frau zurück. Doch sie warnte ihn, sich nicht vom Äußeren täuschen zu lassen, denn wahre Schönheit komme von innen. Der Prinz wies sie erneut zurück. Da löste sich die äußere Gestalt der alten Frau auf und gab eine Zauberin frei. Der Prinz flehte sie um Vergebung an, doch es war zu spät. Sie hatte gesehen, dass in seinem Herzen keine Liebe war. Zur Strafe verwandelte sie ihn in ein Biest und belegte das Schloss und alle seine Bewohner mit einem Fluch. Tage wurden zu Jahren, und die Welt vergaß den Prinzen.
