Monkey D. Luffy

In addition to the famous straw hat given by Shanks, the boy almost always wears the same clothes: a red tank top from buttons, denim shorts and flip-flops. But throughout the story he ends up changing his costumes in some rare moments in certain arcs. After a time jump in the narrative, Luffy appears wearing his red shirt unbuttoned, revealing a large “X”-shaped scar on his torso, made after Admiral Akanui's attack.

The Straw Hat is presented to us as a young man who gains rubber properties in his own body, being able to stretch after eating the Gomu-Gomu no Mi – one of the fruits cursed fruits known as Devil Fruits or Devil Fruits – and sail with his crew in search of the One Piece left by Gol D. Roger, former Pirate King.
