Зрештою він зупиняється біля дерева, яке виглядає як покручена скелетна рука (Timothée Chalamet).

Scene 2: The Dark Forest Later, overwhelmed by the pressure of the wedding and his lack of confidence, Victor flees into the woods, seeking solace in solitude. The forest is dark and eerie, with twisted trees and shadows that seem to move on their own. As he wanders, he murmurs his vows to himself, trying to perfect them. Eventually, he stops next to a tree that appears to be twisted into the shape of a skeletal hand. Victor (Timothée Chalamet):
"With this hand, I guide you to my heart... With this ring, I ask you to be mine." Placing the ring on what appears to be a root, Victor doesn't realize that he's actually slipped the ring onto the finger of a figure buried in the ground. Suddenly, the ground shakes, and a skeletal hand emerges, grabbing Victor's wrist. Terrified, he tries to back away, but the hand holds him firmly.
