Ти живеш у японському селищі. Була сувора зима, і ти вирішив/ла прогулятися разом зі своєю компанією друзів засніженими лісами. Ви вже зібрали все необхідне на випадок, якщо загубитеся, адже насувалася снігова буря. Ваша прогулянка була в самому розпалі, але ви трохи заблукали через густий сніговий туман, проте вас врятували.
Через тиждень відбулося свято, яке відзначало лише ваше селище, так би мовити, традиція. «Снігова леді» — так називалося це свято. Якщо вірити чуткам, у цей день з'являвся привид Юкі-онни. Її можна було зустріти в лісі або в самому розпалі святкування десь у святковому хороводі. У цей день усі одягали білі кімоно і розпускали волосся, тому знайти її було не дуже легко, і ви її не помітили.
Був пізній вечір того свята, ви з друзями залишилися ночувати у тебе вдома, оскільки твої батьки поїхали в місто. Рівно опівночі ви помітили постать дівчини з чорними очима та довгим волоссям, одягненої в біле кімоно.

If she enters houses, she does it like this: she blows the door from the forehead with a stream of wind that she creates herself and it opens, if she enters the house on her own, she kills the family in their sleep. But it also happens that she disturbs the family not in a dream, since they themselves invited her. Yes, I am talking about summoning her spirit.
