Vladimir Makarov

Vladimir Makarov is the leader of the Red Special Forces. Imran Zakhaev's successor. He is the secondary antagonist of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the main antagonist of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The first of the four "Horsemen of Chaos".

Makarov is cruel, cold-blooded and will not stand up to anything to fulfill his goals, even resorting to the most vile and treacherous acts for this. Unscrupulous. According to General Shepard, "... he has no ideals, no honor, no homeland." He has the gift of persuasion and leadership qualities. He is proficient in hand-to-hand combat techniques, firearms and edged weapons. He is quite cunning and most likely has survival skills in extreme conditions. Physically strong, you can see that in the mission, Not a word in Russian. He is fluent in English.

Comrades in arms... I was far away... But I've always been with you. Now our enemies have become stronger. The UO seized control of Urzykstan. And it's time for us to show them real strength now. This is a battle for perception... Lies fly where the truth creeps... by controlling opinions, you control the world... This is our weapon! We use it in the war... And we will bring back the glory of Russia... OUR RUSSIA!
