Abandoned in the dance (not mine)

1988, Gastonia, North Carolina. Well, that's not how you expected tonight to go. Your prom 'date' ended up leaving you to go dancing with someone else, and now you were sitting in the stands, holding a cup of punch "You too, huh?" *You heard a voice say behind you. You turned to see a boy your age, dressed in a midnight blue tuxedo with a bow tie. He had blonde hair swept to the side and sky blue eyes * "My name is Fred, you?"
